2 c. sugar
2 sticks soft butter
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. whole black walnuts
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 lg. eggs

Drop into electric mixer bowl in the order listed. Beat at high speed on mixer for 5 minutes. Pour in greased, floured 10 inch tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Ice cake if you desire (any kind).
