PINEAPPLE - ANGEL DESSERT | |
1 angel food cake, round or loaf, homemade or purchased 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice 1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size) 1 carton (8-12 oz.) whipped topping, thawed Stir together pineapple and pudding mix. Allow to stand 5 minutes until thick. Fold whipped topping into pineapple mixture. Chill for at least 1 hour. To serve, put a large spoonful of mixture on slice of angel food cake. Variation: Frozen pound cake, thawed, may be used instead of angel food cake. |
