1 (2-3 lb.) beef or pork roast 1 lb. baby carrots 5-6 medium potatoes washed, peeled, and quartered 1 onion, quartered 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. oil or bacon drippings flour Cavender's seasoning Rub seasoning into roast. Rub flour over roast, covering all surfaces. Braze meat in hot oil in heavy skillet. Place meat in slow cooker. Add vegetables and water. Cook on low for 8 hours. |
