1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
6 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Whipped cream or 6 regular marshmallows

In 3-quart saucepan, mix cocoa, sugar, salt. Add small amount of milk to make a smooth paste. Add rest of milk. Cook over medium-low heat; stir occasionally until bubbles form around edge of pan.

Remove from heat; add vanilla. Beat with hand beater until smooth and foamy. Pour and top with favorite cream or marshmallow.
