APPLE CRISP 
6 to 8 tart apples
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Slice apples into pie plate. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples. Mix flour, butter and brown sugar with fork until crumbs are formed. Spread over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

If substituting peaches for apples, add 1 tablespoon raw tapioca to peaches.
