OLD FASHION EGG CUSTARD 
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. sugar
4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs just a little and then add milk, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla. Bake on 350 degrees until thick; test with knife. Use unbaked pie shell. Pastry is much better if you have it cold when rolling it out.
