SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops, center cut
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 c. sour cream
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions

Brown the chops; arrange in baking pan. Season with salt and pepper. Combine soup, 1/2 cup of water and thyme. Heat. Add parsley, sour cream and half of a can of onions. Pour over chops; cover. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Remove cover. Add remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes longer.
