OSGOOD PIE | |
4 eggs, separated 4 tbsp. milk 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 3 tsp. water 3 tsp. vinegar 1 1/2 c. pecans 1 1/2 c. seedless raisins or chopped dates 2 unbaked 8 or 9 inch pastry shells Combine egg yolks, milk, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, water and vinegar; mix well. Fold in lightly beaten egg whites, pecans and raisins. Pour into pie shells. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, bake for 30 minutes. |
