MEAT LOAF WELLINGTON
1 lb. ground meat
1 egg
2 tbsp. grated Italian cheese
1/2 of a minced onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 (3 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp. parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
1 pkg. Italian flavor (or reg.) crescent rolls

Mix well. If mixture is too soft, add more bread crumbs and form into loaf. Bake at 350 degrees, preheated oven, for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and place crescent triangles on meat loaf top and sides. Press ends of sides of dough so they stick together, and bake about 15 minutes longer until golden brown. Cool 10 to 15 minutes before slicing. This makes a very impressive looking dish - great for company.
