SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN | |
1 pkg. chicken wings 2 boned chicken breasts, cut in small pieces (may use all wings or breasts) 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 3 - 4 tsp. Accent 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. ketchup 1/4 c. water 1 chicken bouillon cube Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt and Accent. Let set for 1/2 hour. Dip chicken in flour, THEN in beaten eggs and brown in Crisco or Wesson oil. Place in large baking pan, about 9 x 13 inches. For sauce, heat sugar, vinegar, 3 to 4 teaspoons Accent, salt, ketchup, water and bouillon until sugar dissolves. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn chicken over at 30 minutes. You may double sauce recipe. |
