PUMPKIN MUFFINS 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. mashed pumpkin
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. broken walnuts
1/2 c. raisins

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, salt and cloves. In large mixing bowl beat together brown sugar, eggs and butter until light and fluffy; blend in pumpkin and buttermilk. Add dry ingredients, nuts and raisins, stirring just enough to moisten flour. Spoon batter into greased 2 inch muffin pans filling cups 3/4 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
