3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, unbeaten

Sift the above ingredients 3 times; add shortening, work into flour mixture as for pie crust. Add eggs and vanilla. Roll out and cut with cookie cutter and bake about 10 minutes at 375 degrees. This is a good dough for Christmas cut outs.
