DEEP DISH STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 to 3 pts. fresh strawberries, stems removed
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. water
3 oz. strawberry Jello
Baked & cooled deep dish pie crust
Cool Whip or whipped cream

Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and Jello. Cook over medium high heat until thick and transparent. Cool. Put berries into a baked and cooled deep dish pie crust and pour Jello mixture over berries. Refrigerate. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream when ready to serve.
