PORK CHOP POTATO CASSEROLE | |
4 lean pork chops, 3/4 inch thick 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Little oil 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes 1 onion, minced 1/2 c. milk 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted Trim fat from pork chops. Brown slightly in small amount of oil. Remove from skillet. Saute onion. Add soup and milk, heat until well mixed. Put sliced potatoes in a Pam sprayed baking dish, place brown chops on potatoes after you've seasoned potatoes with salt and pepper. Pour over this the onion, soup, milk mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes then increase heat to 350 degrees and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour longer or until potatoes are tender. Serves 4. |
