MARILYN'S BAKED SQUASH 
3 lb. squash (summer, white or zucchini)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
3 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Wash and cut squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except 1/2 butter. Melt remaining butter; pour mixture in baking dish. Then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour, or until brown on top.
