MEXICANA CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pkg. (20 oz.) taco seasoning mix
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 pkg. (20 oz.) corn tortillas
2 1/2 c. (approx. 12 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in large skillet. Saute until beef loses its redness, drain fat. Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water. Mix well.

In a 2 quart casserole arrange alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and cheese until everything is used up. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
