KUCHEN 
DOUGH:

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
6 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Scald milk. Add sugar, shortening and salt to milk. When cooled, add yeast, egg and 3 cups of flour; beat well. Add remaining flour. Cover and let rise until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

BATTER:

1 can evaporated milk
4 eggs
1 c. flour, to make consistency of cake batter

Mix together.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
Flour

Melt butter and add flour until crumbly.

Layer on the dough:

1. Favorite fruit, sliced (until the dough is covered).

2. Batter; to cover fruit.

3. Crumbs; sprinkle over batter.

4. Cinnamon and sugar to taste.
