COLANDER MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. Italian-style dry bread crumbs
1 lg. egg
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
Green pepper rings (opt.)

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT optional green pepper rings. Form into round loaf. Place loaf in the bottom of a hard plastic colander and cover with waxed paper. Suspend colander in a casserole dish. Microwave on 70% (medium-high) 10 to 12 minutes, rotating once. If desired, drizzle loaf with barbecue sauce and top with green pepper rings. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes. Let stand 5 to 7 minutes before slicing. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
