REFRIGERATOR FUDGE 
3/4 c. evaporated milk
2 1/4 c. sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/3 c. light Karo syrup
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, optional

Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Turn heat on low and cook 10 minutes. Keep stirring. Remove from heat immediately. Add chocolate chips, syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir until chocolate chips melt and fudge is smooth. (Stir in nuts now if used.) Pour into buttered 8x8 pan and chill in refrigerator 1-2 hours. This recipe will make up when doubled.
