1 c. salt
2 c. sifted flour
6 tsp. alum
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. water
Food coloring

Combine ingredients in medium sized pan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool and knead, adding a small amount of additional flour if necessary. Store in an airtight container.
