SPECIAL LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef onion 2 large cans tomato sauce 1 to 2 tsp. basil 1 to 2 tsp. oregano 1 to 2 tsp. Italian seasoning garlic salt 1 can mushrooms (optional) 2 c. pasta (any type; rotini, bowtie, shells) 4 c. Mozzarella cheese 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 2 tsp. parsley Brown ground beef and onion. Add tomato sauce, spices and mushrooms. Simmer on low. Boil pasta until tender and drain. Mix eggs, parsley and Parmesan cheese (should be like a paste). Spray 9 x 13 casserole dish with Pam. Layer pasta, then egg mixture and then Mozzarella cheese. Layer pasta, egg and cheese again. Final layer should be pasta. Cover with tinfoil and bake in oven at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve by taking a portion of pasta dish and topping with sauce mixture. Cheese in every bite. Delicious!! |
