REUBEN CASSEROLE | |
8 oz. wide noodles, cooked 3 tbsp. butter 1 lb. sauerkraut, drained 2 c. chopped corned beef 2 med. tomatoes, peeled & sliced 1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing 8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese (2 c.) 4 crisp rye crackers, crushed 1/2 tsp. caraway seed In a greased 9"x13" pan, layer buttered noodles, corned beef, tomatoes and sauerkraut. Dot with salad dressing and sprinkle with cheese. Top with cracker crumbs and caraway seed. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake about 15 minutes more or until bubbly. Serves 6 to 8. This is a real treat for Reuben sandwich lovers! |
