ROCKY ROAD FUDGE | |
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows, divided 6 sqs. semi-sweet chocolate 1/2 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 c. walnuts, chopped 1 tsp. vanilla extract Freeze 1/2 cup marshmallows until firm. Place chocolate and butter in large bowl. Combine sugar, 1 cup marshmallows and evaporated milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over chocolate and butter; blend well until mixture begins to thicken. Stir in walnuts, vanilla and frozen marshmallows; pour into lightly greased 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares. Yield: 2 pounds. |
