CRANBERRY CAKE 
3/4 c. melted butter
1 pkg. fresh cranberries
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour, unsifted

Spread cranberries, nuts and 1/2 cup sugar in a well greased 9 inch square pan. Beat egg and sugar thoroughly. Add flour and butter. Beat well. Pour batter over cranberries. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
