2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. walnut flavoring
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time while beating. Add nuts. Drop onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 2 hours. Turn oven off and let cool in oven for 1 hour. Store in closed bag or freeze. Do not put in refrigerator.
