EASY LASAGNA | |
9 uncooked lasagna noodles 1 to 1 1/2 qt. spaghetti sauce Optional: 1 lb. ground beef, turkey or sausage, browned & drained FILLING: 1 lb. ricotta cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella 1 egg, lightly beaten Parsley for color TOPPING: 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella Combine sauce and meat if you're adding it. Combine filling ingredients and shred evenly over the uncooked noodles. Pour some sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish to prevent sticking. Top with 3 noodles, spaced evenly to allow for expansion. Top with more sauce. Repeat layers using the remaining noodles and sauce. Cover with the Parmesan-Mozzarella mixture. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes before serving. |
