HARDANGER LEFSE 
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cube melted butter
2 well beaten eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Flour for med. dough (about 6 or 7 c.)

Mix as given, adding the flour the last and just enough for a medium dough that can be rolled very thin and baked on a lefse or electric grill. Bake on each side. These "sheets" of lefse must be moistened and buttered with a mixture of soft butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Fold as with a sandwich and cut in pieces as desired.
