MEAT LOAF 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs or crushed potato chips
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped onion

Mix together all ingredients and put in a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Drain liquid off and pour sauce on top of meat loaf. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.

To make meat loaf in the microwave, mix as above, then cook on high 25 minutes. Drain the liquid off and pour the sauce on top of the meat loaf. Cook an additional 10 minutes on high.

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar
3-4 tbsp. fruit juice (can be juice from canned fruits or orange juice for a tangy sauce)

Mix together sauce ingredients and pour on top of meat loaf.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
