CHICKEN PAPRIKASH 
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 tbsp. shortening
1 heaping tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4-5 lb. chicken, cut up
Celery seed & a few carrot strips
1 c. water
1 c. sour cream

Cook onions and burn paprika. Add chicken, burn for 10 minutes. Add water, celery seed and carrots; cook well. Thicken; add sour cream. Serve on noodles.
