FUDGE NUT BARS 
These are bars my Grandma Turner made when we would visit. This recipe makes a large batch, excellent for large family gatherings.

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oats

Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Blend together flour, soda, salt. Add to cream mixture. Set aside.

FUDGE NUT FILLING:

2 c. chocolate chips
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
2 tbsp. vanilla

In saucepan, melt chips, milk, butter and salt stirring until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread 2/3 oatmeal mixture in bottom of a greased 15 x 18 inch pan. Cover with chocolate mixture. Dot with remainder of oatmeal mixture and swirl slightly over chocolate filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
