FRENCH APPLE PIE 
6 c. sliced tart apples
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs
2 tbsp. butter, softened
Streusel topping, below

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease pie plate 10 x 1 1/2 inch. Mix apples and spices; turn into plate. Beat remaining ingredients except Streusel until smooth, 10 seconds with mixer. Pour into plate over apples. Sprinkle with Streusel. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes.

STREUSEL:

1 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter

Mix until crumbly.
