MY AUNT'S LASAGNA 
1 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked

MEAT SAUCE:

1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 clove garlic
1 med. onion
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
4 cans water

Brown, in oil, ground beef and drain. Add garlic, onion and sweet basil. Also add tomato paste and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

CHEESE FILLING:

2 (12 oz.) cartons cottage cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped

Mix together cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and parsley.

Light grease baking dish. Begin with a layer of meat sauce, top with lasagna noodles and then cheese mixture. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting to serve.

This recipe makes a lot. You may want to use 2 smaller pans or 1 large one.
