SWEDISH MEATBALLS | |
3 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 1/2 lbs. sausage 3/4 lb. potatoes, grated 6 oz. minced onions 1 oz. salt 1/2 oz. pepper 3/4 loaf bread 3/4 qt. milk (1 1/2 pts.) 1 pkg. brown gravy mix 1 pkg. onion gravy mix Cornstarch 3 beef bouillon cubes 1 1/2 qts. water Soak bread in milk for 1 hour. Add to other ingredients. Mix well. Shape into balls. Place in a baking pan. Brown in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Drain well. Make the gravy by using the last 5 ingredients. Pour gravy over browned balls. Cook at 350 degrees until done. Makes a large batch. |
