SWEET POTATO AND APPLE CASSEROLE 
2 med. sweet potatoes, peeled & sliced
2 c. apples, peeled & sliced
2 c. miniature marshmallows
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch or flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water

Grease a 2 quart casserole dish. Add a layer each of sweet potatoes, apples and marshmallows. Add the water. Mix dry ingredients together and sprinkle over top. Dot with the butter. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
