1 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter 4 eggs, beaten 3 tsp. baking soda 3 tbsp. milk 3 c. flour 1 c. bourbon whiskey 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 lb. seedless raisins (3 c.) 1 1/2 lb. pecans (6 c.) 1/2 lb. candied pineapple 1/4 lb. dates Cream butter and sugar. Add well beaten eggs. Add flour and soda that have been sifted together. Add milk and 1/2 of whiskey. Add spices and most of whiskey. Add fruit and nuts which have been cut in small pieces. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 270 degrees. |
