RICE AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage 1 c. brown rice 1 green pepper 1 can mushroom soup 1 c. sharp cheese, shredded 1 c. milk 1 onion Cook rice in boiling water until done. Fry sausage in small cakes. Remove from fat. Saute onions and diced peppers in sausage fat. Break sausage in small pieces, add soup and cheese. Combine all ingredients with hot rice. Add milk and mix. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees in oven. |
