1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
3/4 c. flour

Cream butter, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Stir in flour. Mix until well blended. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until done. Will be brown on edges.
