HARVEST VEGETABLE TURKEY SOUP | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1 can tomatoes, cut up (1 pt. or 1 lb.) 3 carrots, peeled and sliced 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 onion, chopped 1/2 c. chopped celery 3 c. water 3 beef or chicken bouillon cubes 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano leaves 1 c. frozen green beans Brown ground turkey in 3 quart Dutch oven or kettle. Drain off excess fat. Add vegetables, water, bouillon cubes, pepper and oregano. Salt to taste. Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add green beans and simmer 15 minutes more. Serves six. |
