TOMATO RELISH | |
1 lb. ripe tomatoes 1 sm. green pepper, minced 1/2 c. diced celery 1 sm. onion, minced 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. cold water Peel tomatoes and dice into 1/2 inch cubes. Add remaining ingredients and chill for several hours in refrigerator. Drain and serve as a relish with meats and fish. |
