TEXAS HASH 
2 onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. rice, uncooked

Brown hamburger, add onions and peppers with seasonings and saute. Add tomatoes, water, rice, and simmer 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and melt.
