1 qt. tomatoes
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
4 slices bread

Break bread into pieces, in casserole. Mix in tomatoes, butter, and sugar and a bit of salt. Save some of the sugar to sprinkle on top. Bake until top is crusty.
