BAKED CHICKEN WITH GRAVY 
3 - 3 1/2 lbs. chicken pieces
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz. can)
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded processed American cheese
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. thawed frozen sm. onions (10 oz. pkg.)
4 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms and liquid

Coat chicken pieces with flour. Melt butter in 13x9x2 baking dish. Bake chicken uncovered in 425 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken. Bake 15-20 minutes longer or until tender. Drain off fat. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees.
