NON-CREAMY COLE SLAW 
1/4 head cabbage
Carrot, green pepper & onion to taste
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 c. sugar, water, vinegar & oil

Mix sugar, water, vinegar and oil in mixing bowl for form the dressing for the cole slaw. Add grated carrots, chopped onion and chopped green pepper that has been peeled. Add finely chopped cabbage, salt and pepper. Chill for 1 hour. Celery seeds may be added if desired. Keeps well.
