STRING BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 can beans sprouts (drained)
2 pkg. French string beans
1 c. water chestnuts (2 cans drained and diced)
1/2 lb. mushrooms sliced or canned mushrooms
2 c. med. cream sauce or,
Can celery soup, or cream soup
1 med. onion or green onions diced
Salt
Grated cheese
1 can French onions

Add to casserole: Layer of cooked string beans, layer of bean sprouts, layer water chestnuts, layer mushrooms, cream sauce, onion, salt, grated cheese. Repeat layers again. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Last 10 minutes of baking add crumbled French fried onions to top of baking dish. Serves 6.
