CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 squares melted unsweetened chocolate
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Add 2 1/2 cups plain flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Put soda in sour cream. Add to above. Add 1 cup boiling water.

Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees in a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Use your own favorite chocolate icing.
