MOLASSES MUFFINS 
1 c. butter
1 c. molasses
1 c. white sugar
1 c. sweet milk
1 heaping tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten separately
3 scant c. plain flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add molasses and egg yolks, milk, spices and soda. Stir well. Add well beaten egg whites and mix flour very slowly. If batter seems a little stiff add a spoon or 2 of warm water. Bake in muffin pans. You can keep batter for several days.
