2 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. alum
2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. boiling water
Food coloring

Combine and mix dry ingredients. Add water and food coloring. Mix and knead until smooth. Makes 5 hand size balls.

5 pound bag flour plus 2 ounces alum makes 7 batches - about 35-38 balls, should cost about $3.50, nice savings over store bought. Good gift for party and classroom at school.
