GERMAN CHOCOLATE PUMPKIN BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 egg

FILLING:

1 can pumpkin filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
Pinch of salt

GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 tsp. water

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix and butter at low speed. Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping. To remaining mixture blend in 1 egg until well mixed. Press into ungreased 13"x9" pan.

Mix together pumpkin pie filling, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, pinch of salt and pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until done. Cool completely. Combine powdered sugar and water. Drizzle glaze over top. Loosen edges before cutting, cut into squares. Serves 15.
