BANANA NUT LOAF (EA) 
Mash 3 bananas. Add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 2 large eggs, beaten. Measure 2 cups flour (before sifting) and sift together 3 times with 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt plus 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Add to first mixture and beat thoroughly. Bake in loaf pan in slow oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
