MOM'S DUMP CAKE 
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
2 cubes (1/2 lb.) butter
Chopped walnuts, if desired

In 9x12 inch pan, pour in pineapple and cherry pie filling, distribute evenly on bottom. Pour cake mix on top. Cut butter into 1 tablespoon pats and put on top of dry cake mix until almost covered. Add nuts, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve and enjoy. Very rich. Easy!

For lighter version, use 1 cube butter, lite cherry pie filling, pineapple in own juice, top with ice milk.
